In the world you are told to fight for your rights!
If you don’t stand up for yourself … no one else will!
You have rights … take what is yours … you are important!
That is what the world says …
… but what does the Bible say?
But we are all as an unclean thing,
and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags.

You cannot prove how right you are …
… and being right or righteous …
… is not something you can fight for or earn!
… Because …
Righteousness is right standing before God …
… and it is a position that God places you in …
For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they
which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness
shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.

… Yes we do have rights …
for instance
You have the right … to be helped by God … (Heb. 4:16)
You have the right … to be blessed by God … (Deut. 28:1-14)
You have the right … to have peace in your life … (John 14:27)
You have the right … to go into the presence of God … (Heb. 4:16)
You have the right … to be healed by God … (Ex.26:15, 1Pet.2:24)
You have the right … to receive salvation in Jesus Christ … (Rom. 10:13)
(John 3:16-17, 1 Tim.2:4, 2Pet. 3:9)
… Yet …
… these rights are not something we demand of God!
… but …
… they are all rights which God has freely given us …
… and longs to shower on us …
!!!
As God said to Israel …
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house,
and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you
the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, \
that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

How can I receive these rights?
I receive (righteousness) the right to all that God has promised,
… by accepting Jesus as Lord in my life, and …
