Decisions … decisions!
Did you wake up this morning knowing that …
… there is a decision you have to make today?
… Maybe …
You even put off making that decision yesterday …
… but the problem has not gone away!
The decision, like it or not, remains to be made …
… today!
Life is full of decisions!
… And …
God made no secret of it either … saying to us …
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you,
that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing:
therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
— Deut. 30:19
What is God saying to us?
God is saying that what happens in our lives …
… is up to us!
Making a choice or making decisions …
… is our responsibility!
We may put them off or even try to avoid them …
… but they remain …
… and we still have to make them!
… But …
I don’t know what to choose?
I don’t know what to say?
I don’t have the answer?
???
If you’re in that situation, then ask yourself this …
What would Jesus say? … What would Jesus do?
… Do not try and make the decision on your own …
Put Jesus in control and let Him make the decision for you!
… How? …
Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. — Col 3:2
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness;
and all these things shall be added unto you. — Matt. 6:33
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. — 1 Pet 5:7
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally
and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. — James 1:5
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding,
shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. — Phil 4:7
Don’t worry about it … ask God for wisdom …
… He does care for you!
Direct your thoughts toward Jesus,
… make Him Lord of your decisions …
