God has a call on each of our lives …
God wants to use you to do something for Him!
… And …
Whether it is big or small, overseas or at home …
It is no less important … and you have to be equally ready!
!!!
God had called Moses to lead His people out of Egypt

And Israel saw that great work which the LORD did upon the Egyptians:
and the people feared the LORD, and believed the LORD, and his servant Moses.
Exod. 4:31

It was an awesome task that God gave Moses to do …
… and knowing what would be needed to accomplish it …
… God prepared Moses for the work that lay ahead!
!!!
God had Moses adopted by Pharaoh’s daughter …
… so that Moses was brought up as a prince,
… so that Moses was trained to be a general,
… so that Moses was trained to be a ruler,
… so that Moses was trained to be a leader …
… and not just a leader …
But the leader who could lead God’s people out of Egypt!
!!!
God had made sure that Moses was equipped to do his job!
And God showed Moses what He wanted him to do!
… But …
Was Moses ready for what God wanted him to do?

And he said, Who made thee a prince and a judge over us?
intendest thou to kill me, as thou killedst the Egyptian?
And Moses feared, and said, Surely this thing is known.
— Exod. 2:10-14

In the physical and according to his abilities … Moses was ready!
God had equipped him to do the task that lay ahead …
… but …
In the spirit Moses was not ready at all!
!!!
In himself Moses was ready … God made sure of that,
… but in the spirit Moses had to learn to depend on God!
— John 15:5
Moses had to learn that working for God …
… takes more than physical and mental preparation!
!!!
Working for God takes spiritual preparation!
Working for God means having to depend on God!
Depending fully on God to accomplish what He called him to do!
!!!
Once Moses had learnt that, he was ready!
… What about you? …
Are you ready to depend on God …
… to do what He wants you to do?
